20,000 Poppy Display Packaging
We were asked to develop a packaging and leaflet design and production for an artist in Lincolnshire who had produced an incredible outdoor display/project that was created from over 20,000 ceramic poppies to form the shape of a lancaster bomber, the display was at the Bomber Command Centre in Lincolnshire and visitors from all over the world viewed it. Once the display was taken down each individual poppy was then offered for sale, the artist needed a safe way of posting each poppy out, not wanting just a plain non descript box sent out in the post we developed a 'Spire' shaped postage box, inspired by the spire at bomber command centre. The artist and customers alike, loved the packaging, which also contained an information leaflet and certificate for authenticity of the poppy.
